Indiana is dubbed the “Crossroads of America” for good reason. For 200 years, our state has attracted people from all over the world who are impressed with the friendly, cozy feel of the Midwest. From the big cities, to the small towns, and everything in between, visitors to the state know that Indiana offers something for everyone. Be it world-class athletics, top-ranked universities, the arts, state parks, or cultural opportunities, come and see what Indiana is all about.

The Best of Indiana is a tour of Indiana’s leading universities: Indiana University, Purdue University, and the University of Notre Dame. During the program, high school representatives will tour the various institutions, engage in discussions with faculty and staff, meet with Admissions and Financial Aid, as well as discuss emerging student trends for international students.

The tour starts immediately after the annual conference for the International Association for College Admission Counseling and concludes the following week.

This is a chance for high school representatives and advisors to get to know a vibrant part of America – the Midwest – while exploring some of the world’s most distinctive universities.

Travel Information

The IU International Counselor Visit will immediately follow the International ACAC conference in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
We will cover all travel costs from International ACAC to Indiana.
You will fly to XXX airport.
We will pick you up and drop you off at the airport.

What is Included?

We will cover:

Transportation from the International ACAC conference to each campus
Lodging
Daily breakfast and lunch
One dinner
Refreshments at the opening and closing receptions

Participant Expectations

We expect you to attend the entire program and participate in all planned activities.
You will be responsible for international travel costs from your country of origin to the U.S. and back. Only the flight from New Jersey to Indiana is covered by this program.
Notify us as soon as possible if you are bringing any guests.

Eligibility

Best of Indiana is open to college admission counselors and principals from high schools outside of the United States who advise international students, as well as Education USA advisors.
Participation is contingent upon your registration for the 2016 International ACAC conference.
